Tamara attends Sunday services

Another blessing related to the Women's Day tea party was that on the following Sunday, Tamara came to church! She was one of three first-time visitors that day, for which we greatly rejoice. Dee Dee had been able to spend another couple of hours with Tamara in her home on Saturday during a second visit. She was again very interested and had many questions regarding the Bible and salvation. She understands she is a sinner but she had never heard that God loves her. She saw God only as a judge of right and wrong. Tamara knows a few Bible stories, but to her they are frightening. For example, her understanding of the story of Abraham and Isaac was only God ordering a man to sacrifice his own son; not that it was a test of Abraham's faith and a picture of the sacrifice of Christ to come.

Please pray for Tamara as well as her husband, Vladimir, that they may understand clearly that God loves them, that Christ died for them and that they might be willing to accept Him as their Savior.
